GeneWatch aims to ensure that genetic technologies are developed and used in the public interest and in a way which promotes human health, protects the environment and respects human rights and the interests of animals. The information on these pages provides a basic guide to what genetic modification is and some of the concerns and issues that are raised by it. There are also links to other sources of information which we believe will are informative.
